Mitzvah Baskets are a great way to decorate the bimah of your synagogue and donate to JFS!
When you reserve Mitzvah Baskets from JFS for your Bat/Bat Mitzvah or other temple function, you not only display two gorgeous baskets at your event, you also help fund important JFS programs.
Always wanted to join a book group but haven’t found the right one?
Look no further! The JFS Book Beat series features compelling reads of interest to the Jewish community. Developed for those who love to read and who love to discuss what they are reading, JFS Book Beat discussions are stimulating and enjoyable.

For over 35 years, the mental health staff at Jewish Family Services of Greenwich has helped adults, teens, and children address life’s challenges through a wide range of counseling and support options.
Are you Jewish and struggling with an unanticipated expense during difficult financial times? Are you looking for help with camp or college costs?
Sometimes it is difficult to meet all of your expenses, especially if an unforeseen expense arises. From college and camp scholarships to emergency funds for food or help with in-home care, JFS can assist you during your time of financial need.

Do you need help getting a green card, applying for citizenship, or learning English?
JFS provides acculturation and immigration services for individuals and families and helps them connect with the Greenwich community. Services include: case management, counseling, vocational help, advocacy, and citizenship consultations. JFS is also accredited by the Department of Homeland Security and is recognized by the Board of Immigration Appeals.
Immigration Services Include:
- Green card and citizenship applications
- Assistance with bringing relatives to the U.S.
- Translation of legal documents
- Inquiry and advocacy service

Divorced or widowed? Interested in meeting someone new and having a nice evening out?
JFS brings Jewish Forties and Fifties (JFF) singles together for a variety of social activities. Founded by members of our divorce groups, these events offer an easy way to meet and mingle in a supportive, friendly environment. Whether you want to join us for a holiday party, movie, or discussion group led by a special speaker, you will find friendship and opportunities to connect.

Need help finding a community service or the right local/state agency?
JFS provides a critical connection for people who do not know where to go or how to access available community services. Our trained counselors will assist you with recommendations or referrals.

We offer several senior services such as Supermarketing for Seniors, visting seniors and Jewish holiday programs in senior facilities.
JFS offers Spirituality and Wellness Services in a variety of ways including the Bikur Cholim Program, Shabbat Services, Healing Services and Jewish Holiday Programs in Senior Facilities.
JFS offers free grocery shopping for Greenwich residents, aged 60 and up. Since 1986, we have been providing this unique, non-denominational grocery shopping service with care and compassion for home-bound seniors.
If you or a family member are in need of this service or if you would like to be a volunteer shopper learn more here.
JFS Support Groups can help! It makes a difference to speak with others who share similar challenges and can work together with you to find solutions. Each of our support groups is led by a licensed social worker with significant experience in facilitating support groups. We offer groups for adults, families, teens and children.
Are you looking for a great B’nai Mitzvah community service project? Can you spare an hour to read a book or play a game with a senior? Or maybe you want to volunteer with other teens to collect holiday food donations?
JFS is always looking for teens like you who are willing to volunteer their time to help others or want to get involved in other teen programs. Whether you want to volunteer to play cards with a senior, help make and deliver holiday foods, or teach someone how to use a computer, there are lots of ways you can participate with JFS!
