Rachel Kornfeld, LCSW, SBL
Chief Executive Officer
A licensed clinical social worker and certified school administrator, Rachel Kornfeld has been providing quality mental health and education services in New York and Connecticut for over 20 years. Rachel holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst, a master’s degree in clinical social work from Columbia University, and second master’s degree in school building leadership from Mercy College.

Rachel began her career as a social worker in the New York City foster care system, and worked in both inpatient and outpatient mental health and hospital settings. Rachel assisted with the start-up of The New LIFE School, a non-public special education setting, part of Lutheran Social Services of New York, where functioned as the Director of Clinical Services, Principal, and Executive Director. Rachel has years of post-masters training in various therapeutic modalities, and vast experience in the field of mental health and education services.

Geoffrey Anderson, LMSW
Chief Program Officer
Geoffrey is a dedicated professional and proud married father of two wonderful girls, a dog dad, and is passionate about service and fostering professional relationships. He earned his Master’s degree from Fordham University, where he developed a strong foundation in organizational management and public administration. With a career spanning various non-profit organizations, Geoffrey has demonstrated his commitment to community service and social impact. His roles as an administrator have allowed him to contribute significantly to these organizations’ operational efficiency and strategic planning, ensuring they fulfill their missions effectively. In addition to his administrative roles, Geoffrey serves as an adjunct instructor at the University of Mt. Saint Vincent in Riverdale, Bronx. In this capacity, he shares his knowledge and experience with students, inspiring the next generation of leaders in public service and non-profit management.

Beth Nussbaum
Chief Development Officer
Beth is a highly creative professional with an impressive track record spanning over 25 years, encompassing roles in Fundraising, Development, Public Relations and Marketing.

Beth’s previous nonprofit development roles include the Open University of Israel, American Friends of Migdal Ohr, Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls and Shelter Our Sisters. Most recently, Beth held the position of U.S. Director of Development for Herzog Hospital, a leading medical facility in Jerusalem, Israel.
Prior to the non-profit sector, Nussbaum served as a Global Marketing and Public Relations executive, working for companies including Hallmark Entertainment, Atlantic Records, Dan Klores Communications and Universal Media Group.

Beth is a graduate of Pratt Institute, holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, and she also earned a Professional Certificate in Fundraising from New York University.

Renee Tucker
Chief Financial Officer
Renee graduated from Iona College with a BBA in accounting. She has over 25 years of experience in both the public and nonprofit sector. Renee has found it very rewarding to work in the nonprofit world for the past 8 years and is happy to be a part of the JFS of Greenwich team!

Iryna Akolzina

I am passionate about building a better society by implementing and developing new programs and facilitating diversity and inclusion of our community. I have more than twenty years of international experience as a student and professional in Ukraine, Germany, Japan, USA and speak multiple languages.

A list of my expertise includes but not limited by: community outreach and networking; providing support to diverse communities or underserved populations; excellent communication, writing, organizational and decision-making skills; excellent presentation/public speaking skills to small groups in person and virtually.
