Group of People

Translated as “visiting the sick”, the JFS Bikur Cholim program trains volunteers to visit the elderly and infirm at Greenwich Hospital and local residential facilities. Our staff and volunteers visit with Alzheimer’s patients, participants in adult day care, residents of assisted living facilities and nursing homes, and hospital patients. Special programming is provided on holidays to ensure that Jewish holiday traditions are available to this population. If you would like to learn more about this unique program or are interested in volunteering, please contact Lstoogenke@jfsgreenwich.org.
