Are you handy around the house and interested in helping a senior in your community?
We need you! JFS provides a free Chore Assistance and Carpentry Service to Greenwich residents, aged 60 and up. Volunteers help Greenwich seniors with simple chores such as hanging a picture, replacing a light bulb, turning a mattress, or shoveling snow in winter. If you have carpentry skills, we need volunteers to install grab bars, repair a broken window, or build a wheelchair ramp. Please contact us if you are able to assist with any of these kinds of chores.
